Perplection
Changing How We All Look At A Mirror
How It Works
Perplection uses stationary or rotating structures combined with mirrors to reflect light projected from lasers to create unique and infinite patterns.

The “Manta”, created by Cameron K. and the team at @perplectionllc , transformed the stage into a fully immersive visual environment, featuring a custom mirrored installation combining two rotating mirrored truss structures alongside a static mirrored centerpiece called “The Tesseract”. The two rotating Mantas continuously shift laser reflections across the room while The Tesseract acted as a massive reflective centerpiece, creating constantly evolving beams, patterns, and movement throughout the venue.
For this project, we designed a multi-angle laser setup using both front and rear projection to interact directly with the mirrored structures and maximize depth, motion, and reflection.
This project was a perfect example of what happens when engineering, stage design, music, geometry, and laser production collide.

Manta
Tesseract
The "Manta" is a motorized triangular lighting installation featuring precision-mounted mirrored panels along its interior surfaces. As the structure rotates, incoming laser beams are reflected and redistributed across multiple angles, generating continuous 360-degree aerial effects throughout the venue.
The "Tesseract" is a stationary square-shaped lighting installation featuring precision-mounted mirrored panels along its interior surfaces. Designed as a large-scale visual centerpiece, the structure transforms incoming laser sources into a complex network of reflections, generating continuously evolving beam arrays, geometric patterns, and kinetic effects throughout the venue.
